Sick babies

Poor babies. It's the first time they have both been sick at the same time. Avery's face says it all..

Avery had a cold a month or so ago but Asher didn't get it. This time they both have a cold but Asher has had it worse with a deep cough. We were a little worried about them but they are doing quite a bit better tonight.

Picture time!

Halle wanted to hold both babies at once. She did it! I was pretty impressed! That's not easy to do even for me! She is such a good big sister and is so sweet with these babies. I know I've said it before many times, but she is such a good helper! I love my sweet Halle girl so much and don't know what I would so without her!

Then I took snapped off a bunch of photos of the babies. I love how they have so many different little expressions. I was excited I got the one of Avery with her toungue out because she loves sticking her toungue out!

I had to get some shots of holding the babies sitting up on my lap. I love how cute they look with there little bobble heads. Avery loves being held and talked to and gives big wide open smiles. She also likes to look all around at what's going on while Asher's usually content to just gaze up at me. It's cute to see the differences in their personalities. I love the little side view of Avery's face. So cute.

Loyal pooch

I've been a little frustrated with this pooch lately...barking and waking up the babies after I spend a half hour getting them down, running out the front door so I have to chase her down the street in my pjs, jumping on the table eating food off uncleared dishes, the list goes on! But then something like this happens and I think...aw, I guess she is pretty cute. Halle's been sick so I let her sleep in and Milly has been beside herself pacing and standing outside Halle's door all morning waiting for her to come out! She loves Luke and Halle. Then at Luke's parent teacher conference last week the teachers showed me some writing assignments he had done and more than half of them were about Milly and how your dog always loves you no matter what. And a couple days ago Asher was inside sleeping in his bouncer chair and Cory was outside holding Avery and Millu was out there and he heard Asher start to cry inside and Milly looked up at Cory and then raced in the house. When Cory got in Milly was standing next to Asher like she was there to comfort him and then leaned over and licked his face (kind of gross but cute at the same time!) And then I remember..oh yeah, this is why we have a dog! I guess we'll have to keep her. Don't ask me tomorrow though...that could be a different story! ;)

These cute twinners are three months old today! Time sure flies when you are having fun! Their little personalities are starting to come out, they are starting to sleep a little better at night, and mommy is starting to feel like a normal person again! They are so sweet and cute and fun and we couldn't love them more!

Awesome Grandma

Grandma Lori has been coming every day since I had the twins to help out! I don't know what I would do without her! She loves my kids so much and I am so grateful to have her help and have another person around that loves them so much that is able to help me take care of them. We are so blessed to have her!

Two month old pictures

I took the babies two month old pictures today. They are actually 2 1/2 months now and I kept meaning to take these the last couple weeks. They are getting so fun and expressive.

Avery is such a little sweetheart. Her nickname is "Peanut."  She's so light and petite compared to big Asher. She's just a couple pounds less than him but that couple pounds makes a big difference. She has always been a really cute baby but she had gotten so pretty lately. People always comment what a pretty baby she is. She seems to have the perfect little features. Her hair is coming back in quite dark and she had an olive complexion. She has the sweetest disposition and loves to give big smiles and coos and giggles. It's super cute. She is so happy and smiley after she eats, especially in the morning, and it's so fun to catch her in a smiley, talkative mood. She will make all sorts of sweet little sounds trying to make a conversation. She is also very smart. We've noticed that we don't even need to stick out tongues out at her to stick her tongue out back at us now, all we have to do is say "Avery, where is your tongue?" and she'll start sticking her toungue out. I was so amazed when I first noticed her doing it. So smart! She is such a darling, sweet little girl and we love her so much!

What a blessing these twins are!
